Alex Nader is a New York City actor, writer, comedian, and educator. You may have seen her on shows like America’s Got Talent! (NBC), Story Pirates SPTV (PBS), or in her recent nationwide commercial for Bob’s Discount Furniture.
She was a Forbes 30 Under 30 semi-finalist, and her sketches have been featured by Funny or Die, Occupy Democrats, and The Huffington Post. She’s currently a house team member on Maude Night, The Upright Citizens Brigade’s premier sketch show.
She is a proud Venezuelan-Lebanese American and Massachusetts stan.
As an educator, Alex has taught creative writing in public schools across the country, and has hosted educational programming with Popsicle and Random House Children’s Books. Her PBS show was honored with an Anthem Award by The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences for outstanding work in education, art, and culture. She is currently an adjunct professor at Connecticut College.
